Shrink to the size of a bug and exploring a terrifying new world in this eye-catching indie title.

If you have been searching for a unique twist on the survival genre, then you should take a closer look at Grounded. In that game, your character is going to be shrunk to the size of a bug and then placed in a dangerous backyard. The goal of the game is to survive for as long as possible, and that is going to be very difficult as you run into new challenges.

The foundation of this game is very similar to most of the other modern survival games that are currently on the market. After you choose your avatar, you are going to be thrust into a hostile world that is filled with enemies. One of the first things that you are going to notice about this game is the unique setting that you are placed in. Grounded puts in a seemingly bland suburban backyard, but don’t let that setting fool you. This game is incredibly eye-catching, and the development team has done an excellent job of making an engaging world that is fun to explore.

When you first arrive in the backyard, you will need to begin the process of gathering resources. Practically everything in this game can be broken down into basic resources that must be collected. With those resources, you can engage in this game’s massive crafting system. Your character will be able to create everything from miniature fortresses to personalized suits of armor with the resources that you collect. Unfortunately, collecting resources can quickly become repetitive, and that is one major drawback that many survival games struggle with.

For many people, the biggest draw of this game is going to be the fast-paced combat. As you continue to explore your surrounding, you are sure to run into a wide variety of opponents ranging from huge arachnids to microscopic mites. Each combatant has unique strengths and weaknesses, and you will need to employ a wide variety of tactics if you want to defeat them. Once an enemy has been killed, you can then harvest unique resources from them to create food, armor, and other items.

While Grounded does have some repetitive aspects, the graphics and gameplay are world-class. This is a must-have game for anyone who is a fan of the survival genre.
